Gabriele Uenzelmann-Neben

Gabriele Uenzelmann-Neben, from 1980 to 1985, studied geophysics, geology, physical oceanography, and physics at the University of Hamburg, Germany. In 1985, he obtained a Diploma in Geophysics; from 1986 to 1988, he served as a Researcher at the Institute of Geophysics, Christian Albrechts University, Kiel, Germany; in 1988, he received a Ph.D. degree in geophysics; 1989–1992, postdoc at Alfred Wegener Institute for Polar and Marine Research, Bremerhaven, Germany; 1992, postdoc at the University of Bremen, Germany. Since 1993, He has been serving as a Senior Researcher at Alfred Wegener Institute for Polar and Marine Research, Bremerhaven, Germany. Since 2010, he has been a Member of IODP SCP, and a participant and chief scientist of a number of seismic cruises
