Gilles Frison
0000-0002-5677-3569Gilles Frison had studied at Ecole Polytechnique (Palaiseau, France), and then he joined the groups of Dr. Alain Sevin at Université Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris, France) and of Professor François Mathey at Ecole Polytechnique to obtain his Ph.D. degree in 2000, studying the chemistry of phosphorus compounds (phosphinidene, phosphametallocene) by combining experimental and theoretical approaches. In 2001, he became a Member of the group of Professor Hansjörg Grützmacher (Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich, Switzerland) as a Postdoctoral Fellow working on organometallic chemistry. Since October 2002, Frison serves as a CNRS Research Associate (Chargé de Recherche) in the Laboratoire des Mécanismes Réactionnels (DCMR) at Ecole Polytechnique. His research centers on the modelling of bioorganic, and bioinorganic and organometallic compounds.
