Michalis G. Nikolaidis

Dr Nikolaidis is a Lecturer in Exercise Biology in the Department of Physical Education and Sports Science at Serres, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Dr Nikolaidis’s work focuses on free radical biology and nutrition with experience in biochemical testing and validation in animal and human studies. He is particularly interested in testing the effects of functional foods and redox nutritional agents (e.g., antioxidants) on muscle function and health. He has published 60 papers in international exercise physiology and nutrition journals and his work has been cited by more than 700 published papers (h-index = 15). He has published 5 first-author reviews in the highly prestigious scientific journals Sports Med, Arch Biochem Biophys, J Exp Biol and Prog Lipid Res.
