Shoh Tatebe serves as Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeon. He received an M.D. degree from School of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Niigata University, Japan in 1986. He received a Ph.D. degree in 1992. In 1986, he was a Registered Physician in Japan. He was a resident at the Division of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, Niigata University from 1992 to 1996. He was a Research Fellow of cardiothoracic surgery, Great Ormond Street Hospital, London from 1996 to 1999. He worked as a Specialist Registrar in 1999. He acted as a Senior Clinical Fellow at the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery, University of Washington, Seattle. He served as an Attending Surgeon at the Department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, Mito Saiseikai General Hospital, Mito from 2001 to 2010 and as an Attending Surgeon at the Department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, Ayase Heart Hospital, Tokyo from 2010 to date. His interests are thoracic and cardiovascular surgery and cardiac functions.
