Magdi S. Mahmoud

Magdi S. Mahmoud obtained a Ph.D. degree in systems engineering from Cairo University, Egypt in 1974. He has been a Professor of engineering since 1984. He also worked at different universities worldwide including Egypt, Kuwait, UAE, UK, USA, Singapore, and Australia. He has given invited lectures in Venezuela, Germany, UK, and USA. He has been actively engaged in teaching and research in the development of modern methodologies to computer control, systems engineering, and information technology. Moreover, He is the principal author of ten (10) books, nine (9) book's chapters, and the author/coauthor of more than 350 peer-reviewed papers. He is the recipient of two national, one regional, and a university prizes for outstanding research in engineering. He is a Fellow of The Institution of Electrical Engineers (IEE), a Senior Member of The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the CEI (UK), and a registered Consultant Engineer of information engineering and systems in Egypt.
