Dieter Ropers

User Biography : Dr Dieter Ropers Dieter Ropers, MD, FESC, FACC, studied at the University of Erlangen School of Medicine from 1987 to 1994, in which year he got his M.D. degree. In 2003, Ropers received the degree of "Privatdozent" (Assistant Professor of Medicine), and in 2010 he received the degree of "Apl. Professor" (Associate Professor of Medicine). He received training in January 2002 at the German Board Exam Internal Medicine, in May 2003 at the German Board Exam Cardiology, and in December 2007 at the German Board Exam Intensive Medicine. Since September 2003, he has been a Staff Cardiologist (non-invasive and internventional), as well as a Faculty Member and an Associate Professor of Internal Medicine and Cardiology at the Department of Internal Medicine. Ropers was a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC) in 2006 and a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology in 2008. Ropers is a Nucleus Member in the Working Group "Cardiat CT" at the German Society of Cardiology. He is also a Writing Group Member in the Working Group Nuclear Cardiology and Cardiac CT of the European Society of Cardiology. He is a Reviewer for Lancet, Circulation, Circulation: Cardiovascular Imaging, European Heart Journal, Journal of the American College of Cardiology, Heart, American Journal of Cardiology, and Investigative Radiology.
