Ancha Baranova is an Associate Professor at School of Systems Biology, George Mason University, Fairfax, Va, USA, also affiliated with Research Center for Medical Genetics RAMS and Vavilov Institute of General Genetics RAN, Moscow, Russia. She has obtained her Ph.D. degree in molecular biology from Moscow State University, Moscow, Russia in 1998 and D.S. degree in genetics in 2004. Dr. Baranova is an expert in functional genomics and proteomics, with an emphasis on analysis of high-throughput data.
