Mohamed Latif Khan

Mohamed Latif Khan is a Professor and the Head at the Department of Botany at the Guru Ghasidas University, Koni, Bilaspur, Chattishgarh. He is a Forest Ecologist and Conservation Biologist, and he obtained his Doctoral degree from the North Eastern Hill University, Shillong, India. He has research collaboration with the Concordia University, Canada, Grand valley State University, and Kansas University, USA. He has supervised twenty-five undergraduate, three graduate, and six Ph.D. theses and currently supervising eight Ph.D. theses. He has contributed 82 peer-reviewed papers and 35 conference papers. One book has also been coedited by him. Dr. Khan is a Recipient of the Nanda Memorial Young Scientist Medal, BOYSCAST, and Overseas Fellowships. Dr. Khan is the member of several professional national and international societies. He is also the Fellow of the National Academy of Agricultural Sciences, National Environmental Science Academy, National Institute of Ecology, International Society for Tropical Ecology, and Rangeland Management Society of India. Dr. Khan is also the member of many boards and committees.
