Lorenzo Cavagna works as an Assistant Professor of rheumatology at the University of Pavia, Pavia, Italy. He earned an M.D. degree (cum laude) in 1995, from the University of Pavia, Italy. He also served as a Physician-in-Chief at the IRCCS Policlinico San Matteo Foundation, Pavia, Italy, in 2011. His main research interests include rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, and antisynthetase syndrome, regarding therapeutic aspects in particular. Cavagna is the author of several papers indexed in PubMed (34 up to 2013).
