Prasanna Kumar Sahoo

Prasanna Kumar Sahoo is a Professor at the Department of Mathematics, University of Louisville, Louisville, KY, USA. He received his Ph.D. degree in applied mathematics from the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, ON, Canada. He has authored over 150 research papers in functional equations on algebraic structures and other areas. He is also coauthor of four books, namely, Characterizations of Information Measures (World Scientific, 1998), Mean Values Theorems and Functional Equations (World Scientific, 1998), Image Processing with MATLAB: Applications in Medicine and Biology (CRC Press, 2009), and Introduction to Functional Equations (CRC Press, 2011). His research interest includes functional equations and their stability on noncommutative groups.
