Tullia Todros is a Full Professor at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, University of Turin (Italy). Since January 2000, Professor Todros is in charge of the Division of Maternal-fetal Medicine and since 2009 she is the Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Neonatology at the O.I.R.M. Sant’Anna University Hospital (Tuirn, italy). Her clinical and academic activities are aimed to promote translational bed-to-bench research on the etiopathogenetic mechanisms of pregnancy-related disorders. Professor Todros' main fields of investigation are maternal diseases of pregnancy (with focus on hypertensive disorders, cardiovascular and renal diseases); placental development; diagnostic ultrasound and Doppler ultrasound; fetal malformations. She is an author of over 300 publications, 109 of which in international indexed Scientific Journals. She has been the President of the Italian Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology (2006–2008).
