Franklin C. L. Wong serves as a Professor of nuclear medicine and neurooncology at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center, USA, where he has served since 1992. He graduated getting the Ph.D. and M.D. degrees from the Chicago Medical School,USA, and completed neurology residency in UCLA and nuclear medicine fellowship at the Johns Hopkins Medical Institute, Baltimore, USA. He has been involved with molecular imaging since 1988 and has published in PET, SPECT, nuclear imaging, radiology, oncology, and neurology literature. He directed and completed two clinical trials sponsored by the US National Institutes of Health. His basic research interests have also resulted in patent and licenses on intellectual properties involving locoregional radionuclide therapy. Besides medicine, his other academic interests have led him to a Membership in the State Bar of Texas and registration with the United States Patent and Trademark Office as a Patent Attorney.
