Shouting Gao

Shouting Gao works at the Institute of Atmospheric Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China. In 1990, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Dundee, Dundee, UK. He received his Ph.D. and M.A. degrees in atmospheric sciences from the Institute of Atmospheric Physics, Beijing, China, in 1988 and 1981, respectively. Moreover, he obtained the B.S. degree in synoptic dynamics from the Nanjing Institute of Meteorology, Nangjing, China. Gao worked as an Editor of Advancess in Atmospheric Sciences (China) and the Geografia Fiscica Dinamica Quaternaria (Italy). He authored Cloud-Resolving Model of Convective Process with Li Xiaofan, 2008, Springer, Germany, and The Dynamics Basis and Prediction Method of the Mesoscale Atmospheric Motion, 2007, China, Meteorological Press, Beijing, China.
