M'hamed Chahma

M’hamed Chahma obtained a B.S. degree in chemistry from the University Ibn Zohr (Agadir, Morocco) and an M.S. degree in electrochemistry from University Denis-Diderot (Paris7, France). After getting his Ph.D. degree, he was a Postdoctoral Scientist at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) working with Professor James M. Tanko. He also worked as a research associate in several Canadian universities and joined the Laurentian University (Sudbury, ON, Canada) as an Associate Professor in 2006. His research is multidisciplinary and uses radical ion chemistry: i) studying the behavior of electron transfer reactions, ii) preparing conducting materials, and iii) investigating phenomena occurring on chiral conducting surfaces.
