Nayot Kurukitkoson
Nayot Kurukitkoson was born in Chanthaburi, Thailand, in 1976. He received a B.Eng. degree (with honours) in telecommunication engineering from King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang in 1998. He was awarded an AusAID scholarship from the Australian government to pursue his postgraduate study at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, where he received an M.Eng.S. degree in electrical engineering in 2000. He then won a Royal Thai Government Scholarship to further his study in the UK, where he was awarded a Ph.D. degree from the Photonic Research Institute, Aston University, Birmingham, in 2004. Dr. Kurukitkoson authored and coauthored more than 20 research papers and served as a technical committee and paper reviewer for many key conferences and journals in the field. His research interests include nonlinear optics, optical communication, optical devices, Raman amplifications, and microwave circuits and devices. He is currently with Faculty of Engineering, Burapha University, Thailand, where he serves as an Assistant Professor in electrical engineering. Dr. Nayot Kurukitkoson is a Member of the IEEE.
