Chengyin Wu is an Associate Professor of physics at Peking University. He received his B.S. degree from the Department of Physics at the Anhui Normal University in 1997, and the Ph.D. degree from the Institute of Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Science in 2000. He served as a Postdoc Fellow from 2000 to 2004 at the Peking University and the Oregon State University, respectively. At the end of 2004, he rejoined the Peking University as an Associate Professor. After years of effort, he successfully builds an experimental research platform for studying atomic, molecular strong field physics at the Peking University. In 2011, he was selected for New Century Excellent Talents by Ministry of Education of China. His current research interests include studying the laser-induced photophysics and the photochemical processes of atoms and molecules.
