Placidus B. Amama

Placidus Amama is currently a research scientist at the University of Dayton Research Institute, Dayton, Ohio, USA. He received his Ph.D. degree in environmental engineering in 2002 working on heterogeneous catalysis at Yokohama National University, Japan. He worked as a NASA-INaC Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Birck Nanotechnology Center, Purdue University, Ind, US. Earlier, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Chemical Engineering, Yale University. His research interests include heterogeneous catalysis, nanostructured materials, nanomaterials processing, and energy storage.
