Christoph Sandner (IEEE Member S‘93–M’95) was born in Munich, Germany, in 1968. He received the Dipl.-Ing. degree in electrical engineering from the Technical University of Graz, Austria, in 1995. Since graduation, he has been with the Microelectronics Development Center of Siemens AG, now Infineon Technologies, in Villach, Austria. From 2004 until 2007, he was the Technical Project Leader of the UWB RF and analog design activities at Infineon. His main interest is the design of RF, analog and mixed signal circuits, with focus on high performance, high-speed frequency synthesis, high-speed analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters, and switched mode power supplies. Currently, he is working on power management units for deep submicron CMOS System-on-Chips. He holds several patents and is the author or coauthor of more than 30 papers in international journals and conferences.
