Ryland P. Byrd

Ryland P. Byrd, a holder of Jr. and M.D. degrees, graduated from the School of Medicine at the University of Louisville, in Louisville, Ky, USA in 1985. He remained at the University of Louisville for his Internal Medicine Residency and Pulmonary Diseases and Critical Care Medicine Fellowship. He served on the faculty of the University of Louisville for two years after completing his Fellowship Training. Dr. Byrd has spent the last 16 years as a Faculty Member of the Division of Pulmonary Diseases and Critical Care Medicine at the James H. Quillen College of Medicine in Johnson City, Tenn, USA. Presently, he is a Professor of medicine. He has published over 200 articles in the medical literature. He has reviewed manuscripts for over 20 medical journals. He serves on the Editorial Board of Clinical and Molecular Allergy, on the Editorial Advisory Association of Federal Practitioner, and as a Medical Editor for the Medicine, OB/Gyn Psychiatry, and Surgery Medical Reference of eMedicine.
