Ivan Spasojevic serves as a molecular physiologist in Belgrade, Serbia. He received his B.S. degree in molecular biology and physiology from the Faculty of Biology, University of Belgrade (2002) and his Ph.D. degree at the University of Belgrade (2006). He performed postdoctoral research at the Centre for Laser Microscopy, University of Belgrade, working in the field of neuroscience. He serves currently as an Associate Scientist at the Institute for Multidisciplinary Research, University of Belgrade. He has expertise in Electron Paramagnetic Resonance spectroscopy and redox biochemistry. His focus of interest is on the metabolism of reactive species and their role in homeostasis maintenance and on the development and progression of different pathophysiologies.
