Ioannis Konstantaras is a Lecturer at the Department of Business Administration of the University of Macedonia of Economic and Social Sciences, Thessaloniki, Greece. He received his undergraduate degree in mathematics from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. He completed his graduate education at the Department of Mathematics, University of Ioannina, Greece, receiving an M.Sc. degree (2001) in statistics and operational research and a Ph.D. degree (2006) in operational research. Dr. Konstantaras’ current research interests lie in the operations research, optimization, reverse logistics, supply chain management, and production planning. Specific applications of interest include mathematical modeling and optimization for inventory control, supply chain, and reverse logistics. He has published 22 scientific papers in international academic journals, books, and conference proceedings, including 18 journal papers in ISI-indexed journals. He is an Associate Editor of the International Journal of Systems Science and of the Universal Journal of Marketing and Business Research. He has also served as a referee/reviewer for several international scientific journals and conferences.
