Kathryn Arehart

Kathryn Hoberg Arehart received her B.S.
degree in biological sciences from Stanford
University in 1984. She received an M.S. degree
in 1987 and a Ph.D. degree in 1992,
both in speech and hearing sciences from
the University of Washington in Seattle.
She also has clinical certification in audiology
from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
In 1992, she joined the faculty of the Department of Speech,
Language & Hearing Sciences at the University of Colorado at Boulder,
where she now is an Associate Professor. Her research interests include
auditory perception by listeners with cochlear hearing loss
and design and evaluation of signal processing algorithms for hearing
aids.
