Iñigo Cuiñas was born in Vigo, Spain, in 1971. He received his degree in Telecommunication Engineering in 1996, and his Ph.D. degree in 2000, both from the Universidade de Vigo, Spain. Nowadays, his main research interest is focused on environmental aspects of radiofrequency systems, as the development of techniques to reduce the electromagnetic pollution, as well as to extend the use of radio technologies in rural environments. He is currently Professor at the Department of Signal Theory and Communications, Universidade de Vigo. He is also Vice-Dean of the School of Telecommunication Engineering, where he teaches courses on remote sensing and electromagnetic field measurements. Professor Cuiñas is a Reviewer of Proceedings of the IEEE, IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, IEEE Antennas and Wireless Propagation Letters, IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, IEEE Transactions on Broadcasting, IEEE Communications Magazine, IET Microwaves, Antennas and Propagation, IET Communications, IET Sonar Radar and Navigation, and several international conferences.
