Iñigo Cuiñas received his degree in telecommunication engineering in 1996 and his Ph.D. degree in 2000, both from the Universidade de Vigo, Vigo, Spain. Nowadays, his main research interest is focused on environmental aspects of radiofrequency systems, as the development of techniques to reduce the electromagnetic pollution, as well as extending the use of radio technologies in rural environments. He is currently a Professor in the Department of Signal Theory and Communications, Universidade de Vigo. He is also the Vice Dean of the School of Telecommunication Engineering, where he teaches courses on remote sensing and electromagnetic field measurements. Cuiñas is a Reviewer of Proceedings of the IEEE, IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, IEEE Antennas and Wireless Propagation Letters, and IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, among others, in addition to several international conferences.
