Ting-Zhu Huang received his Ph.D. degree in computational mathematics from Xi’an Jiaotong University, Shanghai, China. Since 1997, he has been a Full Professor at the School of Mathematical Sciences, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Sichuan, China. His research interests include numerical linear algebra and scientific computation, modeling and algorithms for image processing, numerical linear algebra methods in computational electromagnetics, and matrix analysis and applications. He received the Science and Technology Progress Award of Sichuan Province, Chinese Information Ministry, several times. He is currently a member of the editorial board of several journals, such as The Scientific World Journal, Advances in Numerical Analysis, Advances in Linear Algebra and Matrix Theory, and Journal of Electronic Science and Technology of China.
