Ting-Zhu Huang received the Ph.D. degree in computational mathematics from Xi’an Jiaotong University, China, in 2001. Since 1997, he has been a Full Professor at the School of Applied Mathematics, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, where he is heading a research team working in the area of numerical linear algebra with applications in computational electromagnetics, iterative methods of linear systems, Toeplitz matrices computation, preconditioning technologies, and another research team working in the area of matrix analysis with applications. He received the Science and Technology Progress Award of Chinese Information Ministry (with Zhaoyong You), and the Science and Technology Progress Awards of Sichuan province for three times. He is currently a member of the editorial board of Journal of Electronic Science and Technology of China and Journal of University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.
