Jielin Sun received her Ph.D. degree in Wake Forest University School of Medicine, Winston-Salem, NC, USA, in 2006, majoring in genetic epidemiology. She is currently an Associated Professor in the Center for Genomics and Personalized Medicine at Wake Forest School of Medicine, USA. She is mainly interested in identifying genetic risk factors for urological disease, cancer, as well as other complex traits. She is also interested in translational studies including prediction of individual risk of common diseases using genetic profiling, pharmacogenetics, and pharmacogenomics studies.
