Ivan J. Perry

Ivan J. Perry is Professor of public health and Head of the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health at University College Cork, Cork, Ireland. He is a graduate of NUI Galway and the University of London. He has led the development of a flourishing, multidisciplinary Department of Epidemiology and Public Health in UCC over the past decade. Professor Perry is the Foundation Director of Ireland’s National Self Harm Registry. He is Principal Investigator of the HRB Centre for Health and Diet Research established in 2008 and a Coprincipal Investigator of the HRB-funded Ph.D. Scholar Programme in Health Services Research. He was also Co-P.I. on SLAN-07, Ireland’s National Health and Lifestyle Survey.
