Michael Fink is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute of Information Systems of the Vienna University of Technology (TU Vienna), Vienna, Austria. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from TU Vienna in 2000 and 2002, respectively, and received the Heinz Zemanek Award for his Ph.D. thesis in 2004. His past and present research and teaching activities center on computational logic and complexity in knowledge representation particularly related to logic programming with a focus on answer-set programming, inconsistency handling, information integration and multicontext systems, as well as reasoning about action and change. Fink served on the program committee of renowned international conferences in artificial intelligence and logic programming.
