Susan Brogly

Susan Brogly's research has focused on pediatric and maternal HIV infection, including the effect of in utero antiretroviral therapy exposure on mitochondrial dysfunction, cancer, and birth defects in children born to HIV-infected women; the reproductive health of adolescent girls perinatally infected with HIV; issues in the clinical care of HIV-infected children and pregnant women. She recently received a grant from the American Cancer Society for a case-control study of human papillomavirus vaccination and abnormal cervical cytology in young women attending Boston University Medical Center Clinics. Prior to joining BUSPH, Brogly held an appointment from 2002 to 2009 in the Center for Biostatistics in AIDS Research at Harvard University.
