Pau-Chung Chen graduated from The Department of Medicine in Kaohsiung Medical College, Taiwan. He studied occupational medicine in the Institute of Public Health in the National Taiwan University College of Medicine, Taipei, Taiwan. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in epidemiology and population health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, London, UK. He has been working at the Institute of Occupational Medicine and Industrial Hygiene of National Taiwan University College of Public Health since February 1996. Currently, He is a professor and teaching children's health and the environment, women's health and the environment, statistics in environmental and occupational health, and developmental origins of health and disease. Most of his researches are based on epidemiological methods and focus on occupational and environmental medicine, reproductive and developmental epidemiology, and children's environmental health. He is also interested in maternal, reproductive and child health, and secondary data analysis.
