Ester Lazaro

Ester L ázaro is a Staff Scientist at the Public Research Institutions at the Centro de Astrobiología (INTA-CSIC), in Madrid, Spain. She obtained her B.A. degree and her Ph.D. degree in biology (speciality biochemistry and molecular biology) from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Spain. In 1999 she joined the Molecular Evolution Department at the Centro de Astrobiología, where she carries out her professional activity. Her current research is devoted to the study of the dynamics and molecular basis of adaptation, using RNA viruses as experimental model
