Paula Ludovico

Paula Ludovico graduated in biology at the University of Porto, Portugal, and received her Ph.D. degree in biological sciences at the University of Minho, Portugal. Presently, Ludovico is an Assistant Professor at the School of Health Sciences (ECS) and the Director of the Master in Health Sciences of ECS. She leads the cell death and autophagy group at Life and Health Research Institute (ICVS). Her research goals are focused on the study of programmed cell death pathway(s) and its interconnection with autophagy during cellular aging in eukaryotic model systems.
