Sang Sub Kim
Sang Sub Kim joined the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Inha University, in 2007 as a Full Professor. He received his B.S. degree from the Seoul National University and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) in material science and engineering in 1987, 1990, and 1994, respectively. He was a Visiting Researcher at the National Research in Inorganic Materials (currently NIMS), Japan, for two years each in 1995 and in 2000. In 2006, he was a Visiting Professor at the Department of Chemistry, University of Alberta, Canada. In 2010, he also served as a Cooperative Professor at the Nagaoka University of Technology, Japan. His research interests include the synthesis and applications of nanomaterials such as nanowires and nanofibers, functional thin films, and surface and interfacial characterizations. He published over 180 peer-reviewed papers and holds 20 patents.
