Anuja Datta currently works as a Research Assistant Professor at the Physics Department at University of South Florida, Tampa, Fla, USA. She obtained her Ph.D. degree in physics from Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, Kolkata, India, in 2008. Dr. Datta’s research interests include bottom-up fabrication of wide range of materials in nanostructured forms and understanding their fundamental optical, electrical, thermoelectric, and field-emission properties. Her current research focuses on fabricating advanced low-dimensional oxide, sulfide, telluride, and antimonides materials for applications in sensing, photovoltaics, and thermoelectrics technologies. Her scholarly achievements include more than 25 peer-reviewed publications, in addition to several presentations at international conferences including an invited talk at American Physical Society March Meeting 2011.
