Bernardo A. Mello

Bernardo A. Mello graduated in Physics at the University of Brasilia, Bras?lia, Brazil, in 1990. He received the M.S. (1992) and the Ph.D. (1999) degrees in physics from the University of Campinas (Brazil). From 1999 to 2007 he was employed at the Catholic University of Brasilia, where he had teaching and research duties. In 2007 he was selected for a permanent position as Scientific Researcher at the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation – Emprapa where he stayed until 2009. In 2009 he decided to move to the University of Brasília where he served as a Professor at the Physics Institute. His research interests include signal transduction modelling, particularly in bacterial chemotaxis, and population dynamics.
