Daniel Menard

Daniel Menard received the engineering degree and an M.S. degree in electronics and signal processing engineering from the University of Nantes Polytechnic School in 1996 and the Ph.D. degree in signal processing and telecommunications from the University of Rennes in 2002. From 1996 to 2000, he was a Research Engineer at the University of Rennes. He is currently an Associate Professor of electrical engineering at the University of Rennes (ENSSAT) and a member of the CAIRN (Computing ArchItectures embedding Reconfigurable resources for eNergy-efficient systems-on-chip) research team at the IRISA/INRIA Laboratory. His research interests include implementation of signal processing and mobile communication applications in embedded systems, floating-to-fixed-point conversion, low-power architectures, and arithmetic operator design.
