Mark Ridgway serves as a Condensed Matter Physicist with an interest in amorphous and crystalline materials in bulk and nanometric forms. He works as the Head of the Department of Electronic Materials Engineering at the Australian National University and holds the B.S. degree (1982) from McMaster University and the M.S. (1984) and the Ph.D. (1988) degrees from Queen's University. He has held leading roles at the Australian Synchrotron and is a frequent user of the X-ray absorption spectroscopy and small-angle X-ray scattering beamlines both in Australia and at other international synchrotron radiation facilities.
