Guozhu Liang

Liang Guozhu received his B.S. degree (1987) and M.Sc. degree (1990) in solid rocket motor design, and his Ph.D. degree (2000) in aerospace propulsion theory and engineering from the Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (BUAA). He was promoted to Associate Professor in 1995, and to Full Professor in 2002. His research interests cover a wide spectrum of topical areas focusing on combustion, flow, and design and simulation for chemical rocket propulsion, especially solid rocket motor and liquid rocket engine. He has supervised 7 domestic and 5 foreign Ph.D. degree students, and 18 domestic and 6 foreign M.S. degree students, who have graduated from BUAA in the field of aerospace propulsion theory and engineering. He is the author or coauthor of more than 100 technical papers and was the recipient of several teaching and research awards from government organizations. At present, Guozhu is Deputy Dean of the School of Astronautics of BUAA.
