User Biography : Prof Hagen Sandholzer Prof. Sandholzer is the first director of the Department of General Practice in Leipzig, which was founded in 1999. Leipzig itself is one of the oldest Universities in Germany. The focus of the research Department is Psychotherapy, Rural Medicine and Geriatrics, but many other research areas such as Epidemiology, Quality assurance, professional Education and recruitment of doctors for general practice are covered as well. Academic Achievment: 1982 Graduation, 1989 M.D., University of Heidelberg, at SFM 116 Psychiatric Epidemiology WHO coll. Center for Mental Health. 1999 Ph.D, Hanover Medical School Licensure: State of Germany, Medical License, 1982.
