Katsuyoshi Kondoh

Katsuyoshi Kondoh obtained his M.S. degree from Osaka University in 1988. He worked on powder metallurgy processing in R&D center of Sumitomo Electric Industries from 1988 to 2000. After retiring, he worked as an Associate Professor at Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology, The university of Tokyo, until 2006, and now he is a Professor at Joing and Welding Research Institute, Osaka University. His current main research fields are metallrgy of nanocomposite and powder metal, metal plastic deformation and working process, surface modification by sputtering and coating process, joining, welding and bonding, solid-state reaction, and high-end reuse of biomass as energy and materials resources.
