Naoufal Bahlawane

Naoufal Bahlawane has studied chemistry in Morocco and received his D.E.A. (Master; 1995) degree and Ph.D. degree (1998) from Lyon 1 University, France. He spent then three years in Japan as a Postdoctoral Researcher (JISTEC Fellowship at Kyushu National Industrial Research Institute and at Fukuoka University) and one year in Germany as an Alexander von Humboldt Fellow at Bielefeld University. Afterwards, Bahlawane took the leadership of the Material Science Group at the Physical Chemistry Department at Bielefeld University for 9 years. Since April 2011, he has been a Project Leader in the recently established Nanomaterials Research Unit at Centre de Recherche Public-Gabriel Lippmann in Luxembourg. Bahlawane's research activities are related to the synthesis of nanomaterials with tailored properties, the chemistry of deposition from the gas phase and the interplay between the materials’ structure properties and surface reactivity.
