Shuli Sun was born in Heilongjiang Province, China, in 1971. He received his B.S. degree from the Department of Mathematics and his M.E. degree from the Department of Automation from Heilongjiang University, Harbin, China, in 1996 and 1999, respectively. He received his Ph.D. degree in Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, in 2004. He served as a Research Fellow in Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, from April 2006 to October 2007. Since 2006, he has worked as a Professor in Heilongjiang University, China. In 2009, he was selected to join New Century Excellent Talents Program of China. In 2012, he is selected to be a Longjiang Scholar distinguished professor of Heilongjiang Province, China. Now, he is the Chief Expert of the innovation team Modern Sensing Technology in the Department of Education of Heilongjiang Province, China. He is the Director of the Provincial Key Laboratory, Electronic Engineering; the Leader of the provincial key subject, Control Science and Engineering, in Heilongjiang University; and an IEEE Senior Member. He has published more than 60 journal papers. His main research interests include state estimation, signal processing, information fusion estimation, and estimation in networked systems or sensor networks.
