Tingyue Gu

Tingyue Gu obtained his PhD in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University in 1990. He is currently a full professor at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, USA. He serves on the editorial board of 5 journals and is an ad-hoc reviewer for 50 other journals. He is ranked in the top 5% of cited authors for journals in Biology and Biochemistry per analysis by Thomson Reuters in 2009 and 2010. His research interests include biocorrosion, bio-electrochemistry, biofilms, fermentation, bioseparations, biomass and bioenergy, and microbial fuel cells. His chromatography simulation software has been used in over 32 countries for teaching and research. He is the developer of world's first mechanistic model for biocorrosion progression prediction.
