Alexander Haupt
Alexander Haupt is Associate Professor of economics at Plymouth University, Plymouth, UK, and a Research Fellow at CESifo, Munich, Germany. He holds a Ph.D. degree in economics from the European University Viadrina, Frankfurt (Oder), Germany. His research mainly focuses on issues in public and environmental economics. He analyses how economic integration and international environmental problems shape the policies of national and regional governments. His topics include the political economy of regional integration projects, tax and subsidy competition, the mobility of skilled workers, and international trade and the environment.
