Mustafa A. G. Abushagur

Mustafa A. G. Abushagur is a Professor and Director of Doctoral Program in Microsystems Engineering and Professor of Electrical Engineering at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Dr. Abushagur, also, is the founder and CTO of Photronix (M) Sdn. Bhd. an optical fiber components company. His research is in the areas of photonics, optical communication, and sensing and optical MEMS. He is a fellow of the Optical Society of America and a fellow of the International Society of Optical Engineers. Dr. Abushagur received his BSEE degree in electrical engineering from the University of Tripoli and his MSEE and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from California Institute of Technology.
