Wenya Li

Wenya Li studied in Xi’an Jiaotong University (Xi’an, China) through 1994 to 2005 and graduated in May 2005 with the Ph.D. degree majoring in materials science and engineering. After that, Dr. Li spent 2 years in the laboratory LERMPS (University of Technology of Belfort-Montbéliard, France) as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow. And then, Dr. Li came back to China and worked in Northwestern Polytechnical University (Xi’an, China) as an Associate Professor since July 2007 and as a Full Professor since 2011. His research interests are thermal spraying, cold spraying, and friction welding involving advanced metallic materials (e.g., Al alloys, Mg alloys, Ti alloys, and superalloys) and MMCs. Through more than 10 years of hard work, Dr. Li got more than 200 papers published, including about 80 papers indexed by SCI.
