Heon Lim

Heon Lim achieved his Ph.D. degree in biology from the University of Delaware, Newark, Del, USA, in 1989, his M.S. degree in microbiology from Seoul National University, in 1983, and his B.S. degree in biology from Yonsei University, Seoul, Republic of Korea. From 1999 to 2001, Lim worked as a Visiting Scientist at the Laboratory of Molecular Biology, National Cancer and in 2009 the Director of Biotechnology R&D program, National Research Foundation of Korea. Since 2003, he has served as a Professor at the Division of Biological Sciences, Chungnam National University, Taejon, Republic of Korea. Lim received the Thomas Wolf Award for the best Ph.D. dissertation in the physical and natural sciences, University of Delaware in 1989.
