Lee Yung Shih

Dr. Lee-Yung Shih, is Professor of Internal Medicine at Chang Gung University and Division of Hematology-Oncology, Chang Gung Memorial Hospital (CGMH). She graduated from National Taiwan University and completed training in Internal Medicine and then Hematology at National Taiwan University Hospital. Dr. Shih was the past-Chief of Division of Hematology-Oncology and past-Director of Cancer Center of CGMH. She is currently the Program Director of Section of Hematology of CGMH, the Vice-Chairman of Tumor Committee, and Vice-Chairman of Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee of CGMH. She is in charge of Molecular Diagnostic Laboratory for hematological malignancies at CGMH. She chairs the Taiwan Chronic Myeloid Leukemia Study Group. Her research interests include molecular pathogenesis of myeloid neoplasms, detection and monitoring of genetic abnormalities of hematologic malignancies. She has received several awards including Outstanding Clinical Cancer Research Award of the Chinese Oncology Society, Taiwan; the Outstanding Research Award of Chang Gung University; the Outstanding Research Award of the National Science Council, Taiwan. She has published more than 150 peer-reviewed articles including Nature, Blood, Journal of Clinical Oncology, Leukemia, Cancer Research, Clinical Cancer Research, Haematologica, and Cancer, etc.
