Mark Grabowsky is the Deputy Director of the National Vaccine Program Office. He has twenty years of experience in vaccine development and vaccine delivery, both domestically and internationally. He has worked at the World Health Organization as a Medical Officer for the Expanded Program on Immunization, at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as a Medical Officer for the National Immunization Program, and at the National Institute of Health as the Chief of HIV Vaccine Clinical Development. Dr. Grabowsky has also served as the Chief Medical Officer for International HIV Prevention Research at NIH and as the Malaria Officer at the Global Fund for AIDS, TB and Malaria where he founded the Alliance for Malaria Prevention. He currently resides on a houseboat in Washington, DC.
