Suryasarathi Bose is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Materials Engineering at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, India. He received his B.Tech. (2002) and M.Tech. (2004) degrees in chemical engineering from Andhra University (Visakhapatnam) and Institute of Chemical Technology (Mumbai), respectively. He received his Ph.D. degree from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay, India in 2008. For a brief period, he worked as a Research Associate in IIT Bombay. From November 2008 to May 2011, Dr. Bose worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Katholieke University of Leuven (Belgium). His research interests include polymer blends, self-assembly of nanomaterials, carbon nanotubes and graphene-based polymer nanocomposites, phase separation in polymer blends, rheology and structure-property correlations in homopolymers and blends. He has published more than 30 peer-reviewed papers in reputed international journals and has also contributed in book chapters. He is currently a Reviewer of many international journals like Journal of Applied Polymer Science; Journal of Polymer Science Part B: Polymer Physics; Polymer Engineering and Science; Rheologica Acta.
