Yun C. Chang

Yun C. Chang was born in Taiwan in 1959. He received his Ph.D. degree in genetics from the University of California at Riverside in 1989. He went to the University of Georgia in Athens as a postdoctoral fellow with Dr. W. Timberlake and studied conidial development in Aspergillus nidulans. Since 1992, Y. Chang has been working at the National Institutes of Health and is presently a Staff Scientist. His main interests are in dissecting the attributes involved in virulence of Cryptococcus neoformans using molecular genetic tools.
